The following chart shows minimum, average, and maximum standby power use of residential appliances in the following categories: audio equipment (AUDIO), battery chargers and battery powered devices (BATTERY), home automation and security (HOME), small kitchen appliances (KITCHEN), home office equipment (OFFICE), set-top boxes (SET-TOP), telephone equipment (TELEPHONY), TVs and VCRs (TV-VCR), and white goods (WHITE). Note that the minimum value in our database is represented by the leftmost portion of the bar, the maximum value by the rightmost portion of the bar, and the average by the vertical line within the bar.
